The article called "Death of boy at Crescenta Valley High confirmed" was found on the La Times website on February 10, 2012 and was published by Jason Wells. A male student fell to his death on Friday, the tenth, at Crescenta Valley High. He fell in front of dozens of students, and was a suicide. At first there were misconceptions to weather it was a male or a female student, but later on it was confirmed that it was a fifteen year old boy. The dreaded fall took place near the administrative building on a concrete plaza area, three stories high. The fall shocked many students, who were visibly shaking until their parents came to pick them up. He was later identified as a boy named Drew Ferraro, and took his jump during lunch hour. Some say his suicide was because of bullying.
In my opinion, no person should take their life away to please other people. Bullying should not be tolerated and it has to become an illegal law, because it is getting way out of hand. Most of teen deaths are related to bullying, and we need to find a way to stop it. This poor, fifteen year old innocent boy, took his life to escape the pain and suffering he was enduring from his "fellow classmates". Bullying is a drug. It slowly leads to the demise of a person. It has to end. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
